Description
Incense has always been in use for rituals all over pagan world historically mostly they were burnt as lose herbs or sap on designated plates. My incense holder is suited for sticks there is a small hole in the center.
The knot of the slain or in Swedish Valknut this is a intriguing symbol with a unknown historical meaning but it is found on metal objects as well as on some picture stones from Gotland/Sweden.
3 interwoven triangles that’s 9 corners so maybe this is a representation of the nine worlds but most often it’s seen together with sacrifice scenes on the picture stones therefore we can link it with Odin and the cult around him.
this magnificent ritual item is handmade in Sweden casted with acrylic resin and painted in different layers to mimic aged bronze. Variation in color may occur because they are all hand painted.
the statues are waterproof and non toxic so you can safely polish your mead on the statue.
The design and creation is my own.
