Bracteate, Plaque.

Description

The Runes on this one is quite hard to interpret but the five ones below the horse/head says HOUAZ who ever can translate this for me gets this for free. Otherwise this Bracteate has the usual raven or eagle close too the human figures eye and a completely crazy hairstyle very impressive at the same time.

Finding location is Fyn, Denmark.

Bracteate,s are a very special historical object they date from around 500 / 700 Ad. In total 900 peaces has been found in mostly Scandinavia they are used as prestige necklaces with most often magical and mythology motifs.

This special one has lots of magical motifs it might show Tyr,s binding of the Fenris wolf plus the magical runes ALU witch often are interpreted as the divine mead.

Found in Skrydstrup/Denmark.

this magnificent ritual item is handmade in Sweden casted with acrylic resin and painted in different layers to mimic aged bronze. Variation in  color may occur because they are all hand painted.
the statues are waterproof and non toxic so you can safely polish your mead on the statue.
