Description

Denna gåtfulla staty är så full av symbolik att jag knappt vet var jag ska börja. Min inspiration för henne kommer från en bildsten som hittats på Gotland, Sverige, daterad till Vendeltiden (540–790 e.Kr.).

Det första man lägger märke till är hennes hållning och den tydligt markerade stenen/marken under henne. Hennes position liknar två Pertho-runor som står rygg mot rygg. En av Perthos tolkningar är “sten” och “öde.” I kombination med ormarna kan man säga att denna bortglömda gudinna representerar Moder Jord, eller åtminstone är starkt förknippad med jorden och underjorden.

Hennes speciella huvudbonad är inte unik – det finns många artefakter som avbildar kvinnliga figurer med liknande håruppsättningar. Man kan bara undra vad dessa knutar symboliserade.

Detta magnifika ritualföremål är handgjort i Sverige, gjutet i akrylresin och målat i flera lager för att efterlikna åldrat brons. Eftersom varje staty är handmålad kan små färgvariationer förekomma, vilket gör varje exemplar unikt.

Statyerna är vattentäta och giftfria, så du kan säkert hälla din mjöd på statyn utan oro.

Designen och skapandet är helt och hållet mitt eget, en blandning av forntida inspiration och modernt hantverk.

This enigmatic statue is so rich in symbolism that I hardly know where to begin. My inspiration for her comes from a picture stone found on the island of Gotland, Sweden, dating back to the Vendel era (540-790 AD).

The first notable feature is her posture and the clearly marked stone or ground beneath her. Her stance resembles two Pertho runes positioned back-to-back. One of Pertho’s interpretations is “rock” and “destiny.” Combined with the presence of snakes, one could say this forgotten deity is a representation of Mother Earth, or at the very least, strongly associated with the earth and the underground.

Her distinctive headdress is not unique—there are numerous artifacts depicting female figures with similar hair knots. One can only wonder what this symbolized.

This magnificent ritual item is handmade in Sweden, cast in acrylic resin, and painted in multiple layers to mimic the appearance of aged bronze. Each statue is hand-painted, so slight variations in color may occur, making every piece unique.

The statues are waterproof and non-toxic, so you can safely pour your mead over the statue without concern.

The design and creation are entirely my own, a blend of ancient inspiration and modern craftsmanship.
