Description

This massive statue will do honor to any shrine or altar or just as a uniqe centerpiece Tyr is the largest idol i have created you can see pictures in the gallery off the creative process.

His right hand is missing due too a encounter he had with the monstrous Fennrir wolf it also point upwards to the polestar witch he is said to represent. his left hand is resting on the Rune that is associated with him and the runes on it says Tyr.

Far back in history Tyr was probably worshiped as a main sky god some believe, mostly due to that his name in Indoerupean langue means sky god. Sweden has some place names referring to Tyr worship but most such names can be found in Denmark.

Tyr is a warrior god connected with honor loyalty discipline truth and law call upon him for victory in battle or legal matters.

this magnificent ritual item is handmade in Sweden casted with acrylic resin and painted in different layers to mimic aged bronze. Variation in  color may occur because they are all hand painted.
the statues are waterproof and non toxic so you can safely polish your mead on the statue.
